- Semi - Automatic Cartoner – erects, loads, and seals a carton by either tucking or gluing with some aid from an operator
- Tuck Cartoner – seals cartons by tucking small tuck flaps into the other flaps of the carton
- Vertical Cartoner – erects, packs, and seals a carton while the carton is positioned vertically
